Definition of RAW:
Unaltered from its natural state; not prepared by the
action of heat; uncooked, as with live fruits, vegetables, plants, and
herbs.
Benefit of RAW Foods:
RAW foods have all
of their natural, life-supporting nutrients intact. The process of cooking
foods destroys valuable enzymes, vitamins, minerals, probiotics and other
phytonutrients that are essential for maximum absorption and utilization
of the food consumed. All foods provide some nutrition, but
RAW foods provide higher nutrient levels.
