Definition of RAW:RAW foods like live fruits, vegetables, plants, and herbs are unaltered and unprocessed from their natural state and uncooked, which means they are not exposed to heat above 118ºF. Benefit of RAW Foods:RAW foods have all of their natural, life-supporting nutrients intact. The process of cooking foods destroys valuable enzymes and other nutrients that are essential for maximum absorption and utilization of the food consumed. All foods provide some nutrition, but RAW foods provide higher nutrient levels. RAW foods from nature provide the complete collection of vitamins, minerals and co-factors necessary to fuel our bodies properly.
